Too Weird for Carlo Key

“If the Tea Party is going to be setting the agenda and setting the conversation, I don’t think [the Republican Party] is going to switch gears and become a party of inclusion or a party of acceptance”

-Carlo Key

He was a Republican
Carlo Key used to be a Republican - until last week that is - when he announced that he was leaving the bland old party for good. Put into its proper context that's not really very big news. Every day, it seems, more and more people are getting out while the getting is good. In the months and years to come, millions of people will be bolting that disgusting party. Some will flee to the Democrats; most will become independents.

No, Carlos Keys' saying "adios" to the GOP is nothing to spotlight - unless one takes into consideration the fact that he is a Texas judge. The Lone Star state is a mite shade bluer on this fine autumn morn. According to an article that was put up this week by the nice folks over at Talking Points Memo, the good judge said:

"For too long, the Republican party has been at war with itself. Rational Republican beliefs have given way to ideological character assassination....Pragmatism and principle have been overtaken by pettiness and bigotry."

So was he
The good judge's moment of enlightenment came when a press conference (which he was scheduled to take part in) was called by local party members to defend a San Antonio City Council member named Elisa Chan. She had made some stupid comments regarding the LGBT community that had caused an uproar. As he was getting into his car, Key sat there and started to reflect upon what he was about to do. He couldn't go through with it. "These are not my values", he told the Daily Beast. This act of profound disloyalty to the twisted agenda of the right wing movement has not gone over too well among his former, fellow Republicans to be sure. They almost see it as one of their own converting to satanism. Aren't these interesting times?

Next year, when Carlo Key seeks reelection, he will be doing it as a Democrat. Hats off to the man.

Let's see a show of hands: Who is surprised by this latest chain of events in the demise and ultimate doom of the "party of Abraham Lincoln". AY CARUMBA! I have such a difficult time writing those words while keeping a straight face. Judge Key is holding up a mirror and a lot of people are being made uneasy with what is being reflected. It will become apparent in the next few months that many Republican politicians (particularly in the blue states) will come to realize that the only hopes they have of being reelected will be by switching parties. Every day, in every way, it's getting more problematic to have the albatross of "Republicanism" tied around their necks. I'm lovin' this.

The GOP's New Faces of 2013
But it won't merely be the people with IQ's above room temperature who will be part of the exodus. There are all of the Tea partiers to consider. If a screaming twit like Ted Cruz is not nominated at their convention in the summer of 2016, they're almost certain to bolt that party - en masse - and launch a third party uprising, with Cruz or Rand Paul as their eventual nominee. Or how about a Cruz/Paul ticket? Wouldn't that be a blast??? The possibilities astound. Oh, please, fate.

It all started nearly fifty years ago when Lyndon Johnson signed into law the Civil and Voting Rights Acts. Soon thereafter, during the campaign of 1968, Tricky Dick Nixon sought to court all of those racist and disaffected Dixiecrats who at one time polluted the Democratic Party. It was called "The Southern Strategy" and the strategy worked brilliantly. The overwhelming majority of them switched parties by the beginning of the seventies.

When "the party of Ronald Reagan" (Well, now, that was a lot easier) started to court Christian extremists and the terminally brain-dead three decades ago, no one could have foreseen the damage they would eventually do to a party that at one time had more-than-a-few reasonable and enlightened people in it. Take my onetime congressman, Ben Gilman, for instance.

Ben Gilman
Ben was the last Republican I ever voted for. Come tho think of it I cannot remember ever voting against him - and during his last years as a representative  of New York's 19th District, I was heavily involved in Democratic politics (I used to be a Democrat - shh!) Had my former party ever put up a candidate better than Ben, I would have happily voted for him or her. They never did. Congressman Gilman was a bit liberal on some issues and a bit conservative on others; in other words, the type of Republican politician that scarcely exists any longer - a moderate. Remember those guys? They've gone the way of Betamax videotapes and the passenger pigeon.

Ben Gilman's district was gerrymandered out of existence in 2003 in a scheme cooked up by Dick Cheney and the-then New York governor George Pataki. They wanted to rid the House of one of the last decent Republicans to ever grace those halls. Their efforts backfired. Today there are two Democratic congresspersons representing different parts of Gilman's former district. One of them is gay. Ain't that a scream?

Carlo Key's action this week is not an isolated, fluke occurrence - as many in the right wing scream machine are implying. By his time next year it will be a growing trend. Who knows? It might very well become fashionable.

Tom,

I'm surprised that more Republicans aren't leaving the party in a similar fashion. From an ideology that has fostered the "Straight Talk Express" and loves the idea (or at least states they love) individuality, you'd think we'd see more of the GOP jumping ship.

In the absence of their own ideas on healthcare, the economy, and foreign policy (beyond 'nuking' everyone), the party isn't giving candidates much to run with.

Hopey clearly didn't get the memo about Obamaphones being fiction and healthcare not being free. It's getting harder and harder to get facts to conservatives through that ever thickening bubble. But you sure can tell who's been listening to Rush Limbaugh. As for the topic at hand, I think it's hilarious how many Republicans are not only bolting the party, but calling themselves "independants" or "libertarians" just so no one will connect them to the Bush administration and now the Teabaggers.

WASHINGTON (CBS DC) – A new book covering the 2012 presidential campaign uncovers a series of scathing remarks from political figures, but one alleged comment has stirred controversy around President Barack Obama and his administration’s use of targeted drone strikes.

Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s book “Double Down: Game Change 2012” notes President Obama commenting on drone strikes, reportedly telling his aides that he’s “really good at killing people.”

The quote from the book was first reported in Peter Hamby’s review in the Washington Post.

The White House had not officially commented on the alleged remarks, but senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer dismissed a series of reports from the book, including one that showed Obama campaign officials deciding whether to replace Vice President Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton.

“The president is always frustrated about leaks,” Pfeiffer said on ABC’s “This Week.” “I haven’t talked to him about this book. I haven’t read it. He hasn’t read it. But he hates leaks.”

Almost as bad as telling the American people the truth.

Obama is lying to the American people. Why would any normal person believe a thing he says now after knowing he is lying about the ACA Tax?

Obama's legacy will be that he is the first Black President who is a proven liar.

Look like an idiot? I didn't vote for the liar in the White House. Our first Black President and his legacy is going to be that he lied to the American public. And hasn't stopped. Wow.

Explain to me something, if conservatives are so bad and are ruining the GOP, why are you talking about it? If you believe the Tea Party will prevent the GOP from ever winning another election, why are you upset?
Haven't you heard the old saying that when your enemy is screwing up, dont say or do anything to stop them?
So why this thread? Is it because Tom doesn't want to talk about the lies that Obama told that he believed? Or is it because he is afraid that if there is no conservative counter balance to the democrat liberalism, it will be a disaster for America? I doubt many conservatives are going to change their positions based on what is said on this blog, so who is Tom trying to persuade?

A idiot would be someone who does anything that stops their opponent from self destructing.

ANonymous, I am not upset at the antics of the GOP, other than the pain and suffering they cause. I am LAUGHING at people like you that just don't get it. You come up with the "Obama lied" mantra, yet you never seem to mention either Bush or your messiah, Ronny Ray Gun. You are SOOOO embarrassed by Bush II you have to make stuff up about Obama and then attack him for it. Very sad, but funny at the same time. It must be tough to have to support people who are clearly batshit crazy. You have "alleged" remarks reported by people who hate the President. No proof, just stuff he "reportedly" said. Well, you "allegedly" have sex with farm animals. I'm "reporting" it here. Does that make it true? Can I spend the next 6 years attacking you for your bestiality?

Mozart,

First of all, you can lie about me as much as you want, but doing so does not turn your lie about me into the truth about me.

Secondly, no one is asking you to compare Obama with anyone. You are doing so only in defense of Obama's lying. (I could use the Hillary quote to defend Bush and Regan, but that would only bring out the idiots Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi response.)

Thirdly, Obama is currently lying to Americans. That is not calling him a name, that is telling the truth. If you can prove differently, do so. You are using Bush as your Straw Man to defend Obama.

Fourthly, ask your self.
a. Is Obama the first black American to be President?
b. Is Obama telling us the truth about the ACA Tax?
c. Is Obama a liar?
d. Are you upset over the pain and suffering Obama's lies are causing?

And finally, look around you, the statements about lying Obama are not only coming from "right wing, Fox News, Tea Party, etc." sources.

"Legendary comedian Jackie Mason has uncorked a full-blown assault on President Obama and his troubled attempt at providing health care for Americans.

“It’s such a ridiculous thing. The whole country’s walking around wondering if this guy’s really the president of a country. He sounds more like a maniac in an asylum,” Mason said in a radio interview Sunday night.

“He’s saying things that nobody believes. He was always lying every day of his life. Every time he talks it was a lie. The only time he tells the truth is when you didn’t hear from him.”

“This is becoming so ridiculous, that even the biggest liar can’t top himself,” Mason, 76, told host Aaron Klein on WABC in New York City. “He looks at you straight in the face, and tells you that if you want your plan, you got your plan, you keep your plan. Now, a month-and-a-half later, you got no plan, you lost your plan, and he tells you you still got a plan.”

“Never did I expect a guy like this, the head of a country, to blatantly lie to your face, and then not only lie to your face, then lie about the fact that he never lied. Then lie again about the next lie he told. There used to be a time when you would worship the president, even if you didn’t like him. You knew he told the truth because he’s the president of a country. Now, he’s the only guy in America who would have the nerve to lie this much.

“You say to yourself, ‘Wait a second. Who am I listening to? Was this guy actually elected to the presidency? A man who’s completely out of his mind, who’s out of touch with humanity, with America, who doesn’t seem to know what’s going on here? Does he read a paper?’

“A guy like this should be locked up … If he wasn’t the president, he’d be in jail or in a sanitarium. He wouldn’t be outside talking to people in this condition. He would be considered a danger to his own his own health, to his own life.

“The latest is that it’s only 5 percent of the people, only 15 [or] 20 million people who are going to lose their plan. … What if you shoot a guy? He’s only one person out of 300 million. How come it’s in the paper that you shot an innocent person and you go to jail for it? … Since when do you destroy people and it doesn’t count because it’s too small a percentage?”

Next, your percentage is off by almost 50%.

"that is because the cost to service ratio is SO BAD that anything would be better." Really? That is not what those losing their insurance are saying, like
Edie Littlefield Sundby. So, the Democrat plan for those people is "don't die"?

Do you realize that you are approving the taking of our freedom of choice on how to best take of our selves with that belief? Do you really trust big govt to know what is best for you in light of their wonderful website for the ACA Tax? Nanny State?

Be honest, today, would you believe a thing Obama told you?

Which of my hero's made the mess that Obama's ACA Tax is clearing up?

Is that another lie you believe?

Obama did not say that 15 million people would lose their chosen health care insurance, did he?
He did not say you would not be able to keep your Dr.,did he?

He said that under the ACA TAX we would see our health care insurance go down. Is it?

I know Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi, Bush, Regan, Tea Party, conservatives are racists, etc.
More Straw Men?

By the way, since when is a person's sexual preference a problem for liberals? Or is that a part of your ass fixation?

It is really sad that our first black President will have the legacy of lying to the American people. And his lies? He has no one to blame for them except himself, he owns them, he said them, he knew he was lying. He did not mis speak, it was planned and a part of his getting re elected.

Another example of the lies that were told by Obama about the ACA Tax. This time it's not from has-been comic.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Little more than a week after millions of consumers received health care cancellation notices, lawmakers in both parties are pushing legislation to redeem President Barack Obama’s long-ago pledge that anyone liking their coverage will be allowed to keep it under the nation’s controversial new law.

The result is a stern new challenge for the White House as it struggles to fix website woes for the signup portal for those seeking to enroll under the law, and simultaneously copes with angry consumers who rightly or wrongly blame “Obamacare” for cancellation letters mailed by insurers.

Democratic officials said top administration aides got a close-up view of the cancellation controversy last week, when Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., said at a closed-door meeting of the party’s rank and file that his son had received notice his coverage was being terminated.

In response, these officials said White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough referred to a speech Obama had made earlier in the week saying some of those losing coverage would qualify under Medicaid, some would receive federal subsidies for individual coverage, and others would have options in the so-called exchanges the law set up to allow individuals to shop for insurance. Donnelly’s office declined several requests for comment. The officials who described the incident did so on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss a private meeting.

Democrats, you chickens have come home to roost!

enjoy.

Because single player will be better insurance than what you've got now. Trust me, would I lie to you?
Obama.

How many health plans are "substandard"? 98 percent.

Because of a regulation designed to make nearly every plan rapidly lose grandfather status with every minor, routine change, millions of Americans have received letters informing them their plans have been canceled. Many of them are unable to even get through the first steps of Healthcare.gov to see what their options there are, and others who are able to see their options are finding they have to pay more and may lose their doctors.

It is therefore a stone-cold fact the famous Obama promise from his June 15, 2009 speech to the American Medical Association (and repeatedly constantly since) has been broken:

“I know that there are millions of Americans who are content with their health care coverage -- they like their plan and, most importantly, they value their relationship with their doctor. They trust you. And that means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. (Applause.) If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan, period. (Applause.) No one will take it away, no matter what.”

Now, as those plans are being taken away, the White House and its shifty, dishonest media apologists have decided to denigrate Americans for liking their plans.

Exhibit A is the New York Times, which claims Obama “clearly misspoke” (over 25 times?) when he said you could keep your plan. Their absurd headline? “Insurance Policies Not Worth Keeping.” All those millions of Americans just didn’t know any better.

How many plans are “substandard”? Nearly all of them.

Millions of Americans are being told their plans are “lousy” or “crummy” because they are indeed, in a hyper-literal sense of the word, “substandard.”

Meaning they fail to meet the new standard for so-called Essential Health Benefits required of all plans in the individual and small-group markets when they lose grandfather status. This is the "standard," in brief:

This “standard” excluded nearly every plan in the individual market.

According to HealthPocket: “The data shows that there will be a near complete transformation of the individual and family health insurance market starting in 2014. Less than 2% of the existing health plans in the individual market today provide all the Essential Health Benefits required under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).”

Sure thing Batman, my substandard policy does not cover my birth control since I am not a female, but under the ACA Tax, I pay for that coverage anyway. This is what liberalism calls "efficiency".

More on our first black President lying to us, and the liberal news media (not Fox News)carrying his water for him.

Tom Blumer

"On Sunday, the editorialists at the New York Times claimed that President Barack Obama merely "misspoke" when he dishonestly promised the American people that "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan" to get Obamacare passed.

Sunday evening for Monday's print edition, reporters Reed Abelson and Katie Thomas carried heavy buckets of water on behalf of Obama and his administration. The headline: "Under Health Care Act, Millions Eligible for Free Policies." It took the Times pair 21 paragraphs to inform readers that the "free" plans have annual out-of-pocket cost limits of $6,350 for individuals and $12,700 for families. They never described how the deductibles or copays work, and never noted that taxpayers are funding the subsidies.

"Millions of people could qualify for federal subsidies that will pay the entire monthly cost of some health care plans being offered in the online marketplaces set up under President Obama’s health care law, a surprising figure that has not garnered much attention, in part because the zero-premium plans come with serious trade-offs."

"Three independent estimates by Wall Street analysts and a consulting firm say up to seven million people could qualify for the plans, but federal officials and insurers are reluctant to push them too hard because they are concerned about encouraging people to sign up for something that might ultimately not fit their needs.

The bulk of these plans are so-called bronze policies, the least expensive available. They require people to pay the most in out-of-pocket costs, for doctor visits and other benefits like hospital stays.

Supporters of the Affordable Care Act say that the availability of free-premium plans — as well as inexpensive policies that cover more — shows that it is achieving its goal of making health insurance widely available. A large number of those who qualify have incomes that fall just above the threshold for Medicaid, the government program for the poor, according to an analysis by the consulting firm McKinsey and Company.

The latest analysis was conducted by McKinsey’s Center for U.S. Health System Reform, whose independent research has been cited by the federal government and others.

All plans, including bronze policies, limit annual out-of-pocket costs to $6,350 for individuals and $12,700 for families. But insurers and advocates said out-of-pocket costs — even those under that limit — can be daunting to people with low incomes."

And that's before getting to the problems of high deductibles and lower than expected percentage co-pays.

Here's the fundamental point: The vast majority of people who voted for politicians who supported the Affordable Care Act fully expect their plans to have very low deductibles ($500 - $1,000 or less), normal copay percentages of roughly 80%, and virtually uninhibited access to medical providers. At best, the second one might be present in some plans; you can forget about Items 1 and 3.

There's a point at which "blame the insurance company" isn't going to work, because this is the government's "marketplace," which has been relentlessly packaged as the "signature presidential achievement" of Barack Obama.

The primary mission of Abelson's and Thomas's report appears to be to delay that inevitable firestorm by throwing around the magic word "free."

What, it's not FREE HEALTH CARE, but, but, but, Obama promised us it would be FREE.
You mean it's not the fault of the greedy insurance company's, those racist Tea Party members and rotten rich conservatives? You mean we were LIED to? By our President?

OMG

• People didn’t lose their health insurance – They’re “transitioning” to better coverage.

• The website is not broken – It’s encountering a “glitch”.

• They didn’t promise you could keep your healthcare plan TODAY - They promised only the plans you liked which were being used before the law was signed were protected. Not the ones issued over the past 3 years.

• The law was created to protect a breathtaking, and extraordinarily massive, number of people who were uninsured (30 million) - The number of people who have, or will, lose their coverage is a very, very small number, a “sliver” (15 million)

What was said then:

Via WhiteHouse.gov (August 04, 2009):

Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, “facts are stubborn things.”

Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to “uncover” the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions.

For the record, the President has consistently said that if you like your insurance plan, your doctor, or both, you will be able to keep them. He has even proposed eight consumer protections relating specifically to the health insurance industry.

What is being said now:
AP — President Barack Obama altered his health care promise on Monday(11/4/13) evening in a speech to about 200 of his campaign supporters and health care activists, claiming “what we said was” you can keep your health care plan “if it hasn’t changed since the law’s passed.”

I doubt you are self employed or self insured and am pretty sure you are a member of an public workers union. Or are one of the 2% super rich that dont pay enough in taxes already and can afford to pay for your own insurance?

Regardless of that, have you no concern, no Christian values that would cause you to drop you current plan and Dr. sign up for the ACA Tax because there are some Americans who haven't had the same luck you have had in fighting the corporation monsters? And we all know it's just luck not skill that allow people to get to where you are in life.
If you were really concerned with the millions of Americans with no insurance, you should find one of them and out of you own pocket pay for their insurance.
Or is is you plan for them is "dont get sick"? HOW CAN YOU BE HAPPY WHEN THERE ARE OTHERS NOT AS WELL OFF AS YOU ARE?

BTW, Obama is lying to the American people, still.

It is tragic that our first black President is going to have for his legacy after he leaves office of having lied to Americans, was caught in that lie, and told new lies to cover up his first lies. Makes me wish I was white.

In September 2010, Senate Republicans brought a resolution to the floor to block implementation of the grandfather rule, warning that it would result in canceled policies and violate President Barack Obama’s promise that people could keep their insurance if they liked it.

“The District of Columbia is an island surrounded by reality. Only in the District of Columbia could you get away with telling the people if you like what you have you can keep it, and then pass regulations six months later that do just the opposite and figure that people are going to ignore it. But common sense is eventually going to prevail in this town and common sense is going to have to prevail on this piece of legislation as well,” Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley said at the time.

“The administration’s own regulations prove this is not the case. Under the grandfathering regulation, according to the White House’s own economic impact analysis, as many as 69 percent of businesses will lose their grandfathered status by 2013 and be forced to buy government-approved plans,” the Iowa Republican said.

Obama, your chickens have come home to rooste!

At 2:25 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Mozart you are a perfect example of a soon to be conservative, remember the definition?

A conservative is a former liberal who has been mugged by reality.

In 2010 THREE YEARS before the kick off of the ACA TAX, it was know by the administration that "under the grandfathering regulation, according to the White House’s own economic impact analysis, as many as 69 percent of businesses will lose their grandfathered status by 2013 and be forced to buy government-approved plans”.

3.9 million Americans have lost the health insurance that the President lied when he told you and me and the rest of America they could keep it. PERIOD! When it gets to you Mozart, that will be your reality mugging. Then your chickens will come home to roost.
But Bush was a HORRIBLE president, so that makes this all good in you book. I'm sure those Koch Brothers are working night and day to screw the ACA Tax up, right Mozart? Just like 911 was a frigging inside job.
How stupid are you anyway? Never mind, you wife will have to answer that question.

Needless wars and pandering to the rich? Not for me.

Mozart,

So you are then, also against Obama for his pandering to the rich?
Great, we finally agree on something.

Now about Obama's lies to the American public, do they bother you?
Do you believe Obama's lies are ruining peoples lives?
Or does having a "very nice" Liberal Card allow you to over look these issues for the "greater good"? If so would you agree that this is a great example of "the ends justifying the means"? Can you understand why non-liberals would believe that is what the ACA Tax and liberalism is about?

Sundance cable network had one of my all time favorite movies on this week, BRAZIL. If you have never watched it, I would recommend you do so. The story it tells is what I see has started to happen with Obama's NSA spying on American Citizens, abuse of the IRS power against his opponents, the gathering of personal info through the ACA Tax, and of course the out right lies and lies about lying that Obama continues to tell. It is a very grim, bureaucratically run society, one that it would seem to be the complete opposite of true liberalism.

Let me quickly explain that. I define true liberalism as freedom from govt rules, regulations, central govt planning and the liberty draining effects of a stifling bureaucracy. Today's liberal, or at least the ones who post here, do not share my view of liberalism.

According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, "In the United States, liberalism is associated with the welfare-state policies of the New Deal program of the Democratic administration of Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt, whereas in Europe it is more commonly associated with a commitment to limited government and laissez-faire economic policies." Consequently in America, the ideas of individualism and laissez-faire economics previously associated with classical liberalism, became the basis for the emerging school of libertarian thought."

What is classical liberalism? Princeton definition is "Classical liberalism is a philosophy committed to the ideal of limited government and liberty of individuals including freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and free markets."

I want classical liberalism. I do not want the welfare-state policy's of today's liberalism.
Classic liberalism has been hijacked by the believers of "statism" which Merriam-Webster defines as a "concentration of economic controls and planning in the hands of a highly centralized government often extending to government ownership of industry." Can you say ACA TAX, Green Energy spending (BTW, where are all those Green Energy Jobs? Another Obama lie) Sweet Heart deals with GE, UAW and GM, destruction of the coal industry, to name a few.

Have I caused your eyes to glaze over yet?
Sorry, my bad.

These are some words of wisdom from Attorney Kurt Schlichter of CA for millenials who voted for Obama.

"What did you get? The chance to be forced to buy health insurance you don’t want at inflated rates so my rates can be lower. You get to pay more out of your monthly barista take – liberalism ensured that the tanked job market foreclosed a real career – so that I get to pay less out of my lawyer checks. Thanks, suckers."

Truth hurts Obamabots.

What law(s) have Cruz or Fox News passed that are worse that the lies used to sell the American voters on the ACA Tax? What actions have Cruz or Fox news done that has caused 3.9 million people to lose their health insurance,(in a little over a month!) after being promised by President Obama that would not happen?

FICTION, you want an example of a "work of fiction", try this:

"If you like your health care insurance, you can keep it."
"If you like your Dr, you can keep them."
"Period".
"I pledge to cut the deficit in half by the end of my first term."
Obama said he would close the terrorist prison at Guantanamo Bay during his first year in office. LIE

Obama vowed to make his administration the most transparent in U.S. history. LIE

Obama said his election would improve global perceptions of the United States. LIE

In February 2009, Obama promised that after their nearly trillion dollar stimulus too effect, the unemployment rate would drop down to 5.3% at the end of his first term.
LIE

To have fiscal responsibility and control spending, Obama promised to go line for line and strike out pork in the Tarp bill. The President signed the Tarp bill without cutting any pork out of the bill. LIE

To give 95% of the people a tax break and not to tax anyone below $250,000 LIE

To not allow no bid contracts in his administration. LIE

It must be tough carrying a liars water all the time. TRUTH

I'm still paying for Bush's lies.

Is Chuckie paying for Obama’s lies? Nope. But he’s still raging mad anyway.

Obama lies and nobody dies.

Bush lied and thousands died...AND we're still paying $824,328 per hour for his lies.

But that's ok with Chuckie.

Bush's lies were "white lies" so he’d better hate the Black Guy.

Chuckies "values" are pretty clear

(Note most "lies" he asserted were campaign promises, predictions for the future, un-sourced, or just made up. I don't recall Obama "promising" a 5.3% unemployment rate, but the stimulus really helped. Republican governors even said so.)

From Wiki :

One year after the stimulus, several independent macroeconomic firms, including Moody's and IHS Global Insight, estimated that the stimulus saved or created 1.6 to 1.8 million jobs and forecast a total impact of 2.5 million jobs saved by the time the stimulus is completed. The Congressional Budget Office considered these estimates conservative. The CBO estimated according to its model 2.1 million jobs saved in the last quarter of 2009, boosting the economy by up to 3.5 percent and lowering the unemployment rate by up to 2.1 percent. The CBO projected that the package would have an even greater impact in 2010.

So the stimulus actually helped lessen the damage of the Bush Recession.

But Chuckie doesn’t care about that. He has water to carry, and wants to spread hate against the Black Guy.

Why? Well, maybe because Obama has failed to clean up Bush’s mess fast enough.

.Or...Chuckie really is a racist Right Wing extremist, who also believes liberals are destroying America,

He’s admitted to the latter, and has shown every indication of the former.

Since he hates Obamacare so much, we have to wonder why Chuckie doesn’t offer an alternative health care system, I mean besides, “Let ‘em die”.

Liberals have an alternative, but the corporatocracy won’t even listen to it.

But why offer solutions, when you can offer nothing but hate for the Black Guy?

Right, Chuckie?

Doctors say Venezuela's health care in collapse

By FRANK BAJAK
Associated Press

"Driving the crisis in health care are the same forces that have left Venezuelans scrambling to find toilet paper, milk and automobile parts. Economists blame government mismanagement and currency controls set by the late President Hugo Chavez for inflation pushing 50 percent annually. The government controls the dollars needed to buy medical supplies and has simply not made enough available.

The country's 1999 constitution guarantees free universal health care to Venezuelans, who sit on the world's largest proven oil reserves. President Nicolas Maduro's government insists it's complying. Yet of the country's 100 fully functioning public hospitals, nine in 10 have just 7 percent of the supplies they need.

Worse, government price caps set in July for common procedures are impossible to meet, Rosales said. For example, dialysis treatment was set at 200 bolivars ($30 at the official exchange rate and less than $4 on the black market) for a procedure that costs 5,000 bolivars to administer.

"The health care crisis is an economic crisis. It is not a medical crisis," said Dr. Jose Luis Lopez, who oversees labs at the Municipal Blood Bank of Caracas.

The last pre-Chavez health minister, Dr. Jose Felix Oletta, said that while the public health care system had its problems, the Cuban-run program of 1,200 clinics is a politically motivated waste of billions."

Don't you miss the days of classical liberalism vs. the FDR brand we have today?

It is tragic that our first black President will have a legacy of being a liar. And you know who I blame? The white guys who voted for the black guy.
Makes me wish I wasn't black.

Another Obama lie uncovered (yawn).

Obama beat this mantra like a bongo at Zuccotti Park- “We are helping people with pre-existing conditions.”
State run high-risk pools, which existed before the ACA TAX, are going to shovel people into the Obamacare exchanges where they are going to be hammered with unaffordable costs. (Isn’t this called the Affordable Care Act?)

Maybe the largest lie we were told was the name of Obamacare (TAX) was the Affordable Care Act. Just an oversight, should have been named the "Unaffordable Care Act". Don't worry, no one lose their job over their mistake.

Would claim the reason for the President's belief is the members of the Congressional Black Caucus are lying about being black.

"The new book Double Down: Game Change 2012 claims President Barack Obama does not have “patience” for what his advisors say he calls “professional blacks.” The book also says Obama dislikes the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) as much as he despises the Tea Party movement.

“Obama had little patience for the ‘professional left,’ and vanishingly close to zero for what one of his senior African American aides, Michael Strautmanis, referred to as ‘professional blacks’ (as opposed to black professionals),” authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann wrote on page 39 of the book. “Apart from Georgia congressman John Lewis and Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, Obama had nearly as much contempt for the CBC as he did for the Tea Party Caucus.”

“New York’s Charlie Rangel he derided as a hack; Jesse Jackson Sr. was effectively banned from the White House,” according to the authors. “Obama remembered all too well a conversation with [Cornel] West in 2009, in which the professor used the precious time to complain about his seating at the inauguration.”

The passage comes in a section that details the aftermath of the 2011 Budget Control Act. The debt ceiling grand bargain reached with House Speaker John Boehner ultimately resulted in the sequester. The time frame was during the summer of 2011, as Obama’s re-election campaign began to heat up and as Mitt Romney was emerging as the Republican nominee to face off against him the following year. At that time, many leftist organizations came after Obama, arguing he was not liberal enough for their tastes."

Obama is a proven liar.
Knowing that, do you trust a word he says?
