Trump Needs to Be Removed - NOW
It's bad enough that for the past four years we have been stuck with a president that has the IQ of a moldy bag of rancid lollipops, we have to finally admit that Donald Trump is criminally insane. He cannot be trusted to remain at the seat of power with the nuclear codes within reach of his gnarled little hands. Less than forty-eight hours ago he stirred up a crowd of screaming yahoos to assault the congress and loot the place. These people were so stupid that they really believed that they were going to take over the government of the United States by their insane action. Video interviews with many of them prove it. Trump obviously believed it as well. All they ended up doing was traumatizing every thinking man and woman in the United States.
The Trump administration has been a rolling constitutional crisis since January 20, 2017 when he vomited out what passed as an inaugural address. It's been downhill ever since. If Mike Pence and the cabinet don't have the courage to invoke the 25th amendment and forcibly remove this disgusting man from the house that was once home to Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt, then the congress should do it instead. The only good thing about this nightmare of a presidency was the daily douses of unintentional humor they provided in abundance. This is not funny anymore, folks. This has devolved into a dangerous and deadly situation. He needs to be removed from that house immediately. Time is of the essence, as they say.
This needs to happen fast; technically it could be done in a matter of hours. According to the department of justice, a sitting president cannot be criminally prosecuted. That opinion is a remnant of the Watergate era when Special Prosecutor Leon Jawarski made that judgment. Personally I don't agree with it, but that's the way it is and I need to live with it. Trump and his dimwitted sons and son-in-law need to be criminally prosecuted and sent to federal prison for a very long time. The damage that the despicable punk has done to this nation will outlive most of you reading this.

Pence may want to invoke the 25th, but he is too scared to be the next target of one of the 70 million insane cultists should he do so. DeVos has left his cabinet, not because of any feeling of shame (this is an alien emotion to these traitors), but, again, due to self-preservation. Should Pence actually grow some balls and do the right thing, she sure does not want to be on record for voting out their messiah and be the next terrorist target.

Trump could have been a great president, all he lacked was a brain, a soul and a conscience.
The Vice-President and the Cabinet are Trump cultists. They will not evoke the 25th, or remove Trump from office.
The Congress should impeach him for sake of History and doing its responsibility.
The Judiciary has said that a sitting President cannot be indicted. It says nothing about once a president leaves office. The question of whether, or not Trump can give himself a pardon, is an open legal question. The Supreme Court should rule against Trump being able to give himself a pardon.

My ranting is an acquired taste, to be sure. If you visit my blog you might find a firm grounding in reason and reality behind that style. Note how I present supporting evidence in this thread.
My harsher tone is limited to the long-term alt-Right troll. He is the sole reason I don't admit dialogue with anonymous" commenters. Initial anonymous comments are always welcome, provided they are not of a racist or outright false nature.
As you noticed, good faith dialogue is impossible with trolls who refuse to engage in it. Besides, he started it. ;-)
I don't consider my terms to those who fit the description as name calling. I always thought "name calling" was assigning derogatory or false labels. Perhaps I am mistaken.
"Trump supporters", especially at this time, reminds me of "Hitler supporters". Sometimes more applicable terms fit them, that accurately reflect their words and deeds.
I remember the left calling Bush Hitler. Now, Trump and the whole Republican party is Hitler, or Nazis. We should all be glad Trump is not a real Hitler, or all minorities would be in concentration camps and murdered. Calling anyone a Hitler, or Nazi is an insult to Holocaust victims and the millions of others who were killed by Hitler and the Nazis. It denigrates their suffering by comparing that suffering to what we are going through. Not a fair comparison at all IMO.
Republicans are certainly an anti-constitutional party and have proven that over the decades. Why anyone would vote for Trump, or any Republican, is beyond my comprehension.
If Americans had not known of Trump over the last 40 years, they got a clear view of him during the primary before the 2016 election. After all, he was the leader of the Birther movement. Yet, Republicans picked him (out of 14 other candidates) to be their nominee and then Americans voted for him for president by the 10's of millions. Biden won, but another 70 million Americans voted for Trump. That, I don't get. The only answer is that Americans are gullible and uninformed.
Basic conservatism has a place in the debate on how we run our government. It has usually lost because their policies disregard the people, which the Constitution says that is what government is for, the people. Political power is all Republicans (McConnell) want, and they will break the law (Constitution) to get it.
