The Donald is in Free Fall
If only it were. Someone accused me recently of liking what is now happening in Washington. My response was simply that "liking" is a gross understatement. I'm loving every minute of this political meltdown. I had a stock answer three years ago whenever the results of the 2016 election were discussed: "This is going to end badly, folks". Although I live in the evil northeast, the Hudson Valley town in which I reside is pretty conservative. To those of you who tittered and rolled your eyes at the alarm I expressed at the time ("Oh, Tom! Isn't he amusing!") I can only say that I've been vindicated a hundred fold.
Watching Speaker Nancy Pelosi this week drive the president into complete freak-out mode has been one of the giddiest delights of the year thus far. Trump even stooped low enough to post on his Twitter account a doctored video of Pelosi in which she appears to be slurring her words. This is done by means of speed manipulation. The implication being that she was either drunk or losing her grip on reality. She was neither. This latest incident only further illustrates - yet again - the depth of the man's unprecedented dishonesty. It was quite an enjoyable show - one I wouldn't have missed for all the tea in Tenafly. If it's an unintentionally funny spectacle you're seeking, this administration delivers the goods every time. True, this doomed nation is descending into the abyss, but we're all going to have oodles of laughs on the way down. Imagine, if you will, the Ritz Brothers at the apocalypse.

No the left is in free fail, and the reason is this:
Why is the left outraged when parts of the special counsel report were redacted – even though the redacted portions amounted to less than 3% of the entire body of the text, but are furious with the president for issuing a memorandum ordering several government departments to give the attorney general their full and speedy cooperation. More importantly, that same memorandum conferred upon the AG the full authority to declassify any documents and materials pertinent to the origins of the FBI’s investigation into alleged collusion between the president’s campaign and Russian officials?
The Left sure has a twisted view of transparency. Or are they simply hiding something?
I think when Trump leaves office he should try his hand at TV evangelism. I think he can make lot of bank selling illusion to his base.

I'm sure he'll stoop even lower, Tom. We haven't seen the depths of the vileness and dishonesty that's within this man.
Soon...very soon.
Meme of the day…
Only in the Swamp could one DOJ official (Comey) spend 20 minutes reading a list of Hillary’s crimes, and tell you there is nothing to prosecute… then the other DOJ official (Muller) lists no Trump crimes at all, but tries to convince you he’s guilty of something.

Yeah, for awhile anyway. But soon life's going to get very serious and scary. When that realization hits home, it's not going to be a laughing matter.
Best of luck to everyone in the coming years. It's not going to be easy.
NEW: @RepAdamSchiff sent letters to heads of ODNI, CIA, FBI and NSA taking aim at the new DOJ review of the Russia probe, asking them to provide his committee with any materials requested by Barr, and to tell the panel if they object to any decision Barr makes to declassify info pic.twitter.com/0VZUkL4ygV

Attorney General Bill Barr said he has not received answers from the intelligence community that are “at all satisfactory” in the early stages of his review into the origins of the Russia investigation.
Last month, Barr announced he had assembled a team to review the FBI’s original Russia probe which was opened in the summer of 2016. Barr appointed U.S. Attorney from Connecticut John Durham to lead the investigation which will focus on the use of FBI informants as well as alleged improper issuance of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants.
But Barr, in an interview with CBS News that aired Friday, said he has more questions than answers at this point in the probe.
What are these people afraid of, what are they hiding?
