Slavery is Bad: DUH!

It's almost impossible for me to fathom how -
nearly a quarter of the way into the twenty-first century - we're having this idiotic argument. And it is no surprise that the main stage of the argument is taking place in the Sunshine State - where, as you might have surmised by now - some of the dumbest people in America reside. I once had a good friend who moved to that state in the mid-eighties. Because of my writings, he has not spoken to me in over eight years. That's okay, I'll be fine. He'll be fine, too, I think.

Ron DeSantis is the worst racist to come along in politics since Mississippi's own John Stennis nearly seventy years ago (as vile a creature to come out of dear old Dixie since the Civil War). While a lot of politicians are truly racist, most of them have the good sense to keep that racism to themselves.
Not Ron! His latest cause is watering down African American history in the Florida school system. They now want to teach the kids down there that slavery was an institution that "benefitted" many of the human beings being held in bondage., you see, it allowed many of them to learn a trade. African American history is the hinge on which the doors of American history open. If you do not understand the story of the struggle of African American men, woman and children in this country, you don't understand American history - period. It's as simple as that, campers.

Racism has never gone away. Often simmering just under the surface. Sometimes quite out front and blatant. trump has let it fully bloom again. That maggot De Santa’s from Florida has managed to even take it up some degrees. That’s one of Floridas many, and growing, problems right now. He wishes to rewrite history. That’s what fanciest do. Sen. John Kennedy Had to Shame Democrats Into Condemning Racism...

This week, Kennedy made a point to get the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee on record condemning the racist attacks that members of their own party have levied against Justice Clarence Thomas. One specific attack cited came from Keith Ellison, a former congressman, deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, and current attorney general of Minnesota.

Naturally, Senate Democrats were reluctant to do so.

“I don’t understand the reluctance to accept the fact that Justice Clarence Thomas, who happens to be a black man, has been the butt of modern racist statements. And I don’t understand the reluctance to condemn those,” Kennedy said. “And that’s what my amendment does. I don’t want to water it down. I don’t want to bubble-wrap it. I don’t want to sugarcoat it. I want to say, big as Dallas: The United States Senate condemns all these racist things that have been said about Justice Clarence Thomas.”

  8. Milestogo9:14 AM

Racist? For pointing to the fact that Clarence is bought and paid for? Lavish gifts and refusal to recuse himself from votes that he positively should. Racist? Republicans don’t know the meaning of words. Don’t know actual racism when it’s blatant and see it where none exists. No wonder they want to eliminate history and harm education. Another charming quality of Florida now.

And John Kennedy the phony down country accent guy who does that to appeal to the good old boys who eat up his crap. Anon apparently being one of them.

I certainly have no affection for Christie by any means, but it sure is great to see how he's been talking some truth lately about DeSantis and trump. Especially after being such a trump fluffer in the past. Great to see republicans eating their own.

Misinformation: False information that is spread regardless of an intent to mislead.

Disinformation: False claims and information and conspiracy theories that are spread with the intent to mislead. Propaganda.

Deepfakes and shallowfakes: Use of video software to create events that never happened or distort a person's statements for propaganda purposes or to discredit public figures for political or financial gain. xkcd wisdom on deepfakes

State-sponsored False Information: Sources, particularly in repressive or authoritarian states, operating under government control that create and spread disinformation and propaganda.

Junk Science: Sources that promote discredited conspiracy theories or scientifically false or unverifiable claims.

Hate on the Internet: Sites that actively promote racism, misogyny, homophobia, white supremacy and other forms of violence, bias, and exclusion.

Fake News: Sources that entirely fabricate information, disseminate disinformation and deceptive content, or grossly distort actual news reports.

Clickbait: Sources that use exaggerated, misleading, or questionable headlines, social media descriptions, and/or images to generate traffic on a website.

Biden’s fan club has been in full “see no demented evil” mode, aided by the flying monkeys in the mainstream media who have been constantly spinning every slurry torture of the English language and circular walkabout that Biden does on camera. As we discussed a couple of weeks ago, they’ve even gone so far as to claim that one of his obvious signs of dementia is proof that he isn’t suffering from it.

    This is terrific!

A black member of the task force who put together Florida’s curriculum group categorically debunked the lies being pushed by Kamala Harris and all her hack supporters.

    Here’s what he said:

Yesterday, @abcnews aired a very small section of their interview with a member of Florida’s African American History Standards Workgroup, Dr. William B. Allen.

Here’s more of the interview, where Dr. Allen debunks @VP’s narrative and calls her criticism “categorically false.”🧵 pic.twitter.com/hPFbKNZPs1

“I have read the course, all the standards, I am quite confident in their validity, their historical accuracy, and their motivations and intent.” pic.twitter.com/JLH8mhX3e5

Asked if he believes the course should be amended:
“No, I think it would be effectively to erase people’s history.”

Dr. Allen then gives an anecdote of his own great grandfather who, unlike @VP’s great grandfather, was a slave. pic.twitter.com/sjh5FqJgjV

Once upon a time, President Biden’s line/lie on Hunter Biden’s apparently corrupt business affairs was that he never discussed them. He knew nothing about them. He had nothing to do with them. Biden now has a new line/lie: “The president was never in business with his son.”

Unreal. Some think that slavery was some sort of trade school or jobs program.

  32. And the Florida garbage fire continues:

"However, opponents say it is whitewashing history, highlighting complaints such as — it leaves out Florida's role in slavery and the oppression of African Americans, identifies racism and prejudice without going into depth about who was promoting it, victim-blames Black communities, uses outdated language, and requires teaching that some enslaved people learned valuable skills that were useful after they were freed.

The NAACP spoke out against the changes, saying Florida history books now “convey a sanitized and dishonest telling of the history of slavery in America.”

“Today’s actions by the Florida state government are an attempt to bring our country back to a 19th century America where Black life was not valued, nor our rights protected. It is imperative that we understand that the horrors of slavery and Jim Crow were a violation of human rights and represent the darkest period in American history,” said NAACP President & CEO Derrick Johnson. “Our children deserve nothing less than truth, justice, and the equity our ancestors shed blood, sweat, and tears for.”

WASHINGTON — Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Wednesday that it seems like Donald Trump's final White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, might be cooperating with the federal probe into the former president.

Christie was reacting to a brief exchange captured on video Wednesday morning in Washington, D.C., between Meadows and an NBC News reporter, who asked him if he has testified before a federal grand jury.

"I don’t talk about anything J6 related," Meadows said, referring to special counsel Jack Smith’s probe into Trump’s role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

When asked if he felt the investigation was appropriate, Meadows then walked into a building.

"Watching that video," Christie said in an interview on MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports," "that looks to me like somebody who is cooperating with the federal government."

I hope this doesn't upset you two, but I could care less what happens to Trump. Never said I was a Trump supporter or a member of Maga. Never said I supported his election.

All I want is a legal, within the law election. I want is the law to be upheld regardless of who it is or their status or their position. So your getting all worked up and full of hate for anything conservative or Trump, doesn't bother one bit.

    It's a waste of energy.

    Prove me wrong.

BREAKING: More Republicans have just been charged with trying to gain access to voting machines in the 2020 election:

According to court records in Oakland County Michigan both Former attorney general candidate Matt DePerno and former state Rep. Daire Rendon are facing criminal charges:

    - Matt DePerno is reportedly being charged with 2 Counts of "undue possession of a voting machine".

    - Daire Rendon is reportedly being charged with "undue possession of a voting machine" and "false pretenses".

Both individuals were arraigned remotely today and released on $5,000 bond.

"Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya, during trump’s arraignment hearing today, said - "Your most important condition of release is that you not commit a state, federal or local offense. If so, your release may be revoked. You may also face a longer sentence for having committed a crime while on release.”

She told Trump that “it is a crime to influence a juror or try to threaten or bribe a witness or retaliate against anyone connected to the case.”

Here's your step-by-step guide to Biden
    family influence peddling, as revealed
by Hunter's business partner... and even
Democrats can't deny it happened(no but they can and will ignore it)

Evidence of Biden Family corruption is now so blatantly obvious that even Democrats have stopped trying to cover it up. Like a zit on their foreheads, they're just hoping no one notices. 'Is it fair to say that Hunter Biden was selling the illusion of access to his father?' Congressman Dan Goldman asked Devon Archer, Hunter's former business partner, in a closed-door interview this week.'Yes,' said Archer. Thanks, Congressman Dan. He was our helpful guide walking us all through a veritable step-by-step of Biden Family international influence peddling.
