Here's something even sadder: when you do a Google search of Rudy Giuliani's image, the first thing that comes up is the photograph at the top of this piece; with that befuddled look on his face and hair dye streaming down both sides of his face. It's not the kind of image that looks good in the history books. It's probably going to end up at the top of his obituary.
And now there is a very good chance that Rudy will be disbarred from ever practicing law again - all because he put in his lot with Donald Trump. You would think that in forty-plus years, Guiliani might have taken the time to observe Trump's method of operation, ie, his habit of throwing everyone around him under the bus to save his own skin. I knew, early on, how this would end for the poor old bugger. His legacy is pulverized. He should have known better,

Rudy Giuliani is negotiating a possible resolution in his ongoing court dispute with former Georgia election workers Wandrea “Shaye” Moss and Ruby Freeman, after they accused him of defaming them following the 2020 election and already won nearly $90,000 from him for attorneys’ fees.
The lawsuit from Moss and her mother, Freeman, presents a significant risk to Giuliani financially. It also comes at a time when the former New York mayor and Manhattan prosecutor is attempting to fend off two disbarment proceedings, as well as interest from special counsel Jack Smith’s office, which is criminally investigating Donald Trump’s response to the 2020 vote, of which Giuliani was a central player.
In a court filing late Friday, Moss and Freeman’s legal team disclosed that Giuliani’s lawyer approached them on Thursday “to discuss a potential negotiated resolution of issues that would resolve large portions of this litigation and otherwise give rise to Plaintiffs’ anticipated request for sanctions.”
“Counsel for both parties have worked diligently to negotiate a resolution and believe they are close,” Moss and Freeman’s lawyer wrote.
The negotiation is over “certain factual issues regarding Defendant Giuliani’s liability,” the court filing also said.
Another update on the negotiations is expected in court on Tuesday.
Previously, Giuliani was ordered to pay $89,172 to Freeman and Moss’ lawyers by July 7 after they had had to go to court to force him to respond to part of their demands for evidence in the case.
Moss and Freeman accuse Giuliani of scapegoating them in a fabricated effort to undermine how votes were counted in Georgia in 2020.
They seek an unspecified amount in damages, saying Giuliani’s public false statements about them in 2020 caused severe emotional distress and put them in danger.

More Rudy...Rudy Giuliani has reportedly been threatened by a judge with "severe" sanctions if he continues to fail to produce necessary evidence in a defamation case brought against him.
The news comes from Politico's senior legal affairs reporter, Kyle Cheney, who posted the news on Thursday.
"JUST IN: Judge Howell threatens Rudy Giuliani with contempt of court and other 'severe' sanctions for failing to provide adequate discovery to Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss in their defamation suit— despite repeated court orders," Cheney wrote.
The image Cheney included in the announcement was a court order that "cautioned" Giuliani on what would happen if there was further failure to comply with a prior order to search and produce necessary records.
"She’s also ordering Rudy to pay about $90,000 in their attorney’s fees for recent motion," Cheney added.
Giuliani was sued in 2021 by two election workers in Georgia who said the former Trump lawyer lied about them rigging the 2020 election for President Joe Biden.
