Donald's Meltdown

 

I saw an interesting meme on Facebook early this morning that I found quite revealing (I am paraphrasing here):

"THE SIGHT OF A BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE HAS SO UNHINGED THE GOP, THEY HAVE DECIDED TO DECLARE WAR ON DEMOCRACY."

That pretty much sums it up perfectly. The Donald and his silly minions are determined and hell-bent on subverting the democratic process on January 20, 2021. My biggest fear is that - for the first time in the history of this country - there will not be a peaceful transfer of power. If he calls for an army of his armed, MAGA-BRAINED followers to descend upon Washington to defend their leader, you can expect a very ugly and brutal scene on the streets of D.C. The question is: will he? Anything is possible with this deranged fool. I've been paying attention to this guy for nearly forty years. Four years ago I would tell anyone who listened that this was going to end badly. But even I never dreamed that things would quite get this weird. These are interesting times.

As much as I respected Barack Obama, he could be extremely boring. Donald Trump is anything but. I look forward to at least four years of beautiful boredom from Joe Biden. These have been four years of a rolling constitutional crisis, unprecedented in our history. We can't even gauge the amount of damage that he has been able to do in four years. It's apparent that he is a traitor to the country that the American people were dumb enough to choose him to lead four years ago.  We can only hope that the NSC has closely monitored every communication and contact he has had with hostile foreign governments across the world.   

It's somewhat comforting that more people cast their ballots for Joe Biden than any other candidate in the history of presidential elections. That figure is tempered by the nasty fact that Trump got the second highest number of votes. I've got to tell you, folks, I'm no longer at all comfortable living in a nation where nearly half of the people who vote are crazy enough to think that sending an unhinged sociopath like Trump to the White House to be a perfectly reasonable idea. This is not the way it is supposed to be. We used to have civics classes in American high schools. Those classes were done away with decades ago. They need to be brought back to the curriculum. We have been so-civically dumbed downed in the last half century that it's completely embarrassing. Donald Trump's presence in the Executive Mansion is all the proof you need to understand this sick reality.

We have become the laughingstock of the entire planet, folks. We continue down this road to our own detriment. We used to be the envy of the world. We're nothing more than a sick, fucking joke today. We really need to get with the program.

The Trump administration is planning a coup upon the government in January. They won't succeed. Wherever Joe Biden is at noon on January 20, at twelve noon  on that day, he will place his hand on the bible and will recite the presidential oath of office. At that moment the army of the United States of America will be answerable to him - and him alone. At that moment, Trump - and everyone of this disgusting administration - will be removed from the White House - either voluntarily or by force. Count on it.
