The first time I ever lived away from home was in 1963 when I found myself living with my uncle, Bill Clements, and his family in Dayton, Ohio. My mother had become quite ill, and us kids were scattered about with various relatives in the Midwest. Although my memories of the place are vague after the passage of over half a century (I returned there only once) what I've managed to retain are those of a pleasant place brimming with nice folks. You can imagine my dismay when I learned that Dayton was where nine human beings became the victims of America's latest mass murder. This was only a day after twenty-two people were gunned down in cold blood in El Paso, Texas. Again, the politicians are sending out their "thoughts and prayers" to the victims and their families. Again people are demanding that sensible gun laws be passed in this doomed country. Again, in the weeks and months to come it will be mere business as usual.
Something to ponder: Nearly seven years ago, some murderous little geek walked into a classroom in a Connecticut elementary school and murdered twenty little boys and girls and the six women whose job it was to educate and protect them. At the time, the general wisdom was that this would be the tipping point. Surely this unspeakable tragedy would wake the lawmakers up enough to finally put an end to this madness. As I predicted on this site on the day after the carnage at Sandy Hook, not a goddamned thing would change. Not a goddamned thing did:

In fact, it is now as common as a full moon in the morning sky. It almost amazes me that most of us still are stunned when an event of this magnitude occurs. It barely fazed me. When the news came over the television yesterday morning I did not so-much-as bat an eye. You see, I long ago adjusted to living in this America. 'Oh', I said out loud, 'it happened again, huh? And so close to the Christmas season. Ho ho fucking ho.' "

Mass shooting deaths on this scale have become the new "normal" in America, the price we are forced to pay for (WAIT FOR IT!) our "freedom". This is the way it's going to be from now on, and you had better get used to the body count. As long as so many politicians are resting comfy-cozy in the pockets of the National Rifle Association, this dreadful and appalling situation will continue unchanged. We have been stupidly lulled into believing that we have "representatives" in Washington. We don't. The halls of congress are littered with prostitutes for the plutocracy. Nothing is going to change - nothing. Don't kid yourself into thinking that the violence will never touch your blissful existence. It will. I have had two cousins - one maternal, one paternal - who were murdered by men who had been stalking them. Brace yourself for the inevitable.
One more quote from the piece I wrote on the morning after the Newtown massacre:

A society that lives in dreaded, mortal terror wondering when and where the next massacre of innocents will take place may indeed be many things - no argument there. 'Free' they are not. The "Second Amendment" has been distorted enough. When it was written muzzle loading rifles were the norm, not automatic military assault rifles with god awful 100 round magazines. Any intelligent person that passed basic English understands that "a well regulated militia" and the need to take up arms at the time (i.e. "the redcoats") was the intent of the amendment. Parsing out "the right to keep and bear arms," disregarding the "militia" clause, is idiotic. The time has come to either amend it to take into account today's horrendous mass killings or repeal the damn thing.
Some very interesting parallels in another movie: "22 July". It is a documentary/drama regarding the mass shooting in Norway. You have to pay attention to the words the 'shooter' reported uses as he rationalizes his motives.
Jeffrey Epstein has committed suicide. Another "friend of Bill" dies mysteriously. Nothing new to see here, move along.

• Black Lives Matter: Wants dead cops “Pigs in a blanket, fry ‘em like bacon.”
• Antifa Constantly assaulting Conservatives.
• Ongoing malicious rhetoric calling all Conservatives: Naz*s, racists, bigots, homophobes, Xenophobes… etc., etc., ad nauseam.
In 2016 CBS Las Vegas posted a list of Bill and Hillary Clinton associates alleged to have died under mysterious circumstances.
Here are some on that list.
1- James McDougal – Clintons convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr’s investigation.
2 – Mary Mahoney – A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown .. The murder …happened just after she was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House.
3 – Vince Foster – Former White House counselor, and colleague of Hillary Clinton at Little Rock’s Rose Law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the head, ruled a suicide.
4 – Ron Brown – Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown’s skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors. The rest of the people on the plane also died. A few days later the Air Traffic controller commited suicide.
5 – C. Victor Raiser, II – Raiser, a major player in the Clinton fund raising organization died in a private plane crash in July 1992.
6 – Paul Tulley – Democratic National Committee Political Director found dead in a hotel room in Little Rock , September 1992. Described by Clinton as a “dear friend and trusted advisor”.
7 – Ed Willey – Clinton fundraiser, found dead November 1993 deep in the woods in VA of a gunshot wound to the head. Ruled a suicide. Ed Willey died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed Bill Clinton groped her in the oval office in the White House. Ed Willey was involved in several Clinton fund raising events.
8 – Jerry Parks – Head of Clinton’s gubernatorial security team in Little Rock .. Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside Little Rock Park’s son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house.
9 – James Bunch – Died from a gunshot suicide. It was reported that he had a “Black Book” of people which contained names of influential people who visited prostitutes in Texas and Arkansas
10 – James Wilson – Was found dead in May 1993 from an apparent hanging suicide. He was reported to have ties to Whitewater..
11 – Kathy Ferguson – Ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead in May 1994, in her living room with a gunshot to her head. It was ruled a suicide even though there were several packed suitcases, as if she were going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton in the Paula Jones lawsuit Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.
12 – Bill Shelton – Arkansas State Trooper and fiancee of Kathy Ferguson. Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancee, he was found dead in June, 1994 of a gunshot wound also ruled a suicide at the grave site of his fiancee.
13 – Gandy Baugh – Attorney for Clinton’s friend Dan Lassater, died by jumping out a window of a tall building January, 1994. His client was a convicted drug distributor.
14 – Florence Martin – Accountant & sub-contractor for the CIA, was related to the Barry Seal, Mena, Arkansas, airport drug smuggling case. He died of three gunshot wounds.
15 – Suzanne Coleman – Reportedly had an affair with Clinton when he was Arkansas Attorney General. Died of a gunshot wound to the back of the head, ruled a suicide. Was pregnant at the time of her death.
Proof again you can't fix stupid.
